First Aid Courses

We offer Basic First Aid Courses in English.

First Aid Course (16h) – Online part (8h)

Duration: 16 hours – 8 hours online + 8 hours in person

NOTE: This course consists of an online module (First Aid course (16h) – Online part (8h) | wissen.roteskreuz.at) and a practical part:

1. Online module (= theory)
2. Practical part (= practical exercises on site)

Completion of both the online module AND the practical part is mandatory to receive a certificate!
Please bring your certificate from the online module to the course.

Curriculum:

• Accident prevention
• First Aid basics
• Unresponsive patients
• Acute emergencies
• Road accidents
• Injuries

Further information:

This course serves as both proof of instruction in emergency life-saving measures in accordance with Section 6 of the Driving Licence Act 1997, as well as proof of training (at least 16 hours) as defined in Section 40 of the AStV for occupational first aiders (click here for more information).

In addition, this course meets the legal requirements of the following laws and regulations:

• Section 26 (3) ASchG (Workplace Protection Act)
• Section 26 (3) B-BSG (Workplace Protection Act)
• Section 40 (2) B-AStV (Workplace Protection Act for first aiders)
• Section 31 (5) to (6) BauV (Building Ordinance)
• Section 41b (1) Z 2 ChemG 1996 (Chemicals Act) and Section 5 Poisons Ordinance 2000 (Poisons Ordinance)
